Community Resources Hub
Sparkle – The National Transgender Charity organises the annual Sparkle Weekend in July, the world’s largest free-to-attend celebration of gender diversity. We also hold a series of events throughout the year to actively promote Trans awareness and acceptance, and raise funds to help deliver our activities.
Our charity is run by a core team of dedicated Trustees and unpaid Volunteers. Unfortunately, at this time, we do not have the capacity to offer peer-to-peer support, so part of our commitment in supporting the Trans, Non-Binary/Genderfluid and Intersex community is to raise visibility and promote the voices of grassroots organisations and unfunded community groups.
As a result of online enquiries over the past 12 months, we have chosen to bring together a list of these local third-sector organisations across the UK and further afield to assist those who are looking for advice and support.
This list is by no means exhaustive, and we require your help in building this incredibly valuable resource. If you work or volunteer for, or attend, a local group which supports people who identify as Trans and is not listed, please email us to ensure that your organisation is included.
Our hope is that we can create a user-friendly and accessible community resource which covers and supports every section of the gender-variant spectrum.
