Sparkle 2011
How much money did we raise?

Sparkle 2011 was always going to be hard with the credit crunch limiting fundraising, but we still managed to raise nearly £6,000!

Manchester Concord donated almost £1000. TV Chix donated £800 and The Beaumont Society donated £500. The other organisations listed on the sponsor's page each gave between £50 and £400.

If anyone wishes to show their appreciation for the Sparkle weekend donations can still be made via PayPal (see left) and all funds will go towards Sparkle 2012.
Thank you!

How was the money spent?

The stage in Sackville Gardens was obviously the most expensive item. Plus sound system, lights, power generator, etc. We also had to pay for the hire of Sackville Gardens and insurance for the event. Plus security staff, crowd control barriers etc.

Other costs included printing the Sparkle Festival Guide which included the Village map and timetable.

At the end of the day we made a small loss on this years event, which was luckily covered by the 2010 surplus.
