The Sparkle show will again be presented by Miss chelsea-Attonley.

Chelsea began her show business life in club-land working for an entertainment company. Chelsea entertained up and down the UK and Annual events in Amsterdam and Paris in fabulous style with snakes, beautiful out-fits and of course the people and celebrities who made up the night!

Chelsea has appeared on Television many times regarding Transgender issues and loves to help promote Trans-awareness whenever she can and say's ‘'I would enjoy working more and more deeply in the Transgender awareness circle and hopes to promote a positive image. This is my third time hosting the main stage at Sparkle and I can't wait for this years party!''

Starbase 109 are the latest act to agree to perform at Sparkle 2011.

The two members of Starbase 109 are quite remarkable looking and have been described as sounding a bit like Devo, a bit like The Diagram Brothers, a bit like … a comedy Kraftwerk, but from Salford! They were support group for The Stranglers on their greatest hits tour and played in venues all over the uk infront of audiences of about 2500. They have also have done supports for The Damned, Ozric Tentacles, John Cooper Clarke and Frank Sidebottom.

There is nothing quite like Starbase 109 and we are really pleased to have them with us at Sparkle - don't miss their show we have a feeling it will be the talk of the weekend!

Chrisie Edkins is a solo artist working with ‘Play Records' in London. She has 3 completed singles ready to be released, (the pre-production versions of which are available on the internet) and many further uncompleted songs that she has written using her life experiences, emotions and feelings for inspiration. She has performed in the UK and Las Vegas, made a professional music video and even had songs played on the radio.

She also works for a radio station (SpitfireFM) as a DJ, models for two modelling agencies and writes music for internet television shows and intros. On top of all this she keeps herself busy promoting awareness of transgendered women and issues.

The collision of three generations and a mashed up myriad of influences, Frillerz are what they are ...
you might love them ...
you might hate them ...
but one thing is for sure ...
you will never forget them ...

He first performed at Sparkle 2006 and after a great show last year we just had to welcome him back again in 2011 - Joey Hateley A.K.A. The Gender Joker
"Gender Joey is a shooting star! Style, talent and panache combines to not only educate and entertain and illuminate... "

Joey is the Artistic Director of TransAction Theatre Company and has performed all over the World.

We are very sorry that Samantha Eames is unable to perform this year due to
ill-health. We wish her all the best!

We have managed to secure a last minute replacement in the form of Jackie Hagan. Although not TG herself Jackie is happy to support our event and brings her own brand of stand up comedy and performance poetry to Sparkle 2011. Jackie has been been gigging regularly around the country for 10 years at comedy venues, theatres, spoken word events, festivals, Prides etc and we appreciate her last minute support at Sparkle this year.

We are delighted to welcome back the lovely Gloria who has performed at Sparkle previously. Gloria has been a professional performing musician for many years, toured Europe and the States with various bands and released nine solo albums as well as other collaborative recording projects. Last year she released her first cd as Gloria "Living For Me" which celebrates TG life from various angles. She has also acted and written music for film and stage.
