Rules for Entry

1. To enter Miss Sparkle 2008 or Mr Sparkle 2008 you must be either a male to female or female to male transgender person. Entries from genetically born males or females will not be accepted.
   
2. Failure to disclose accurate information or the inclusion of deliberately misleading information with your entry will result in disqualification.
   
3. Entries from persons working in the adult entertainment industry or from persons with escort listings will not be accepted.
   
4. Entries received after the closing date (Friday 30th May) will not be accepted.
   
5. All entries must be accompanied by a completed application form and two photographs, one head and shoulders and one full length. Photographs must be of a reasonable quality and to a maximum file size of 500 kb, failure to comply with this could result in your entry being returned or not being accepted.
   
6. Entrants from previous years pageants will be accepted but the winners of each category in previous years may not enter again.
   
7. An independent judging panel will choose a short list of finalists shortly after the deadline for entries. The decision of this panel is final and no correspondence will be entered into to with those who are not selected as finalists.
   
8. All finalists will be notified by email once the independent judging panel has made its decision. Finalists must respond to this email to accept their place in the final line up. All other entrants will be notified of the results of the independent judging panel shortly after this.
   
9. Finalists will need to be available from about 3.00pm on Friday 27th June for a meet and greet and planning session and the winners of each category until perhaps about 8.00pm on Sunday 29th June to complete the photoshoot. Failure to do so will result in disqualification.
   
10. All prizes are non-exchangeable and must be claimed before 31 st August 2008.
    
11. Sparkle and Jaye Adams reserve the right to make changes to formats, changes to competition rules and/or the cancellation of some or all parts of the competition without giving notice.
    
12. All those taking part agree to the Sparkle organisers using any photos taken of them over the weekend in the promotion of Sparkle and Miss Sparkle without specific individual consent.
